About Holyhead Ferry
The Port of Holyhead is located at the far west of the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales.
The Ferry Terminals, one for passengers & one for vehicles, are operated by Stena Line & Irish Ferries, operating services to Ireland.
Getting There
By Car
The Port is situated near to Holyhead Town Centre, and is reached by following the A5 from the Midlands, or by the A55 from Chester. Once you reach the Town Centre, follow the signs to the Ferries.
By Bus
There are frequent buses and coaches to Anglesey and Holyhead from England and Wales. On Anglesey there is a local network of buses which service all parts of the island.
By Rail
Holyhead is on a main rail line with connections and services from most parts of the UK (4 hours from London; 2 1/2 hours from Manchester).
Car Parking
Short Term (20 minutes) parking is available FREE at Terminal 1.
There are two car parks available for Long Term parking which costs �5 per day or �30 for 7 days. 60 Spaces are available at the port entrance and a further 500 spaces are a short ride from the port at the main car park with a FREE Park & Ride service back to the terminal. Cars are parked at owner's risk. The car parks are patrolled and have CCTV coverage.
